“When I decided
to put my house on the
market in Spring 2009, I wanted to find the right real estate entity. My
concerns included the fact that the house was a unique one of a kind
property.
It was a small architectural gem on a triple lot in Hyde
Park. It was not traditional in concept or plan. It consisted of
two separate living spaces: a main house of approximately 1,000 sf and a
separate casita or guest house of approximately 600 sf. The sale price
was
$400.00 per square foot. The house would not appeal to just anyone. The
real
estate market was at the absolute bottom of the curve. Finally the house
was
not totally finished.
I interviewed several real estate agents. They all told me how unique
the
property was and enumerated the negatives to a sale. Mark
Strub came in and told me how wonderful the house was and how
much it would mean to him to participate in such sale. He said it would
simply
take the right buyer. He had really creative approaches to the marketing
of the
house and was always energetic, enthusiastic and truly interested in the
project. He was very good about keeping me apprised of the status
throughout
the entire time.
Mark Strub, I am convinced, was the
only person with the insight and positive attitude to tackle such a set
of
circumstances. I cannot say enough good things about him. Do you realize
how
rare that statement is in the industry?
I would recommend, and do recommend Mark to anyone who needs to buy or
sell
real estate. He is a talented and genuine person and a really nice
person as
well.”
