Mark-- This is not my first time buying a home and this is not my first Realtor
experience; Mark was GREAT.
I am new toAustin ,
so at first he took me around the 'areas' just to get a feel for what I would
like... He doesn't provide any 'used-car salesman' pressure, he truly listens
to what you like and I was also impressed that he suggested properties that
were lower in price than the ones I had suggested to him-- He isn't looking to
make the biggest commission, but more so, to make sure you are happy with your
purchase.
After looking at several places, we put an offer on one and Mark was very hands-on, with suggesting good mortgage brokers, inspectors etc., Once again no pressure to use any of his people; just suggestions.
Long story, short... We ended up using his inspector and he was great. Maybe too good. He found multiple flaws in our potential property and at the last minute I decided not to buy it. Mark was understanding and I truly believe he would much rather have you be completely happy with your purchase than to just 'make a sale'.
With everything coming so close to my existing move-out date, I have decided to rent for another year... But when I go to make a purchase I will most certainly be working with Mark!" [read follow-up review]
